Here in Florida, we make a big deal about strawberries. In Plant City (the strawberry capital), someone is crowned Strawberry Queen each year. I get really excited this time of year because Publix marks down their strawberries to two for $4. As I personal strawberry hoarder, I've found they go bad quickly so I wanted to provide some recipes that call for strawberries!

Donut Craze

I have a prediction: In this era of frozen yogurt and cupcakes, a new fad is peeking over the horizon. Donuts. Not just any donuts, couture donuts...sprinkles, glaze, pearls...the works. Some may call it "Designer Donuts," like in this article. One thing is for sure, these are not your average policeman's donut.
